EXCEL Membership Requirements
EXCEL members must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.25, be currently enrolled, and not be on disciplinary probation.
If you are a first year students without a current GPA, please fill the field with "N/A". If you'll be interested in returning for the Fall Semester, you must meet the GPA requirement.

Meeting Requirements
EXCEL members are required to attend the following meetings:
-Weekly General Body meetings (Every Other Wednesday 12pm-1pm)
-Weekly assigned committee (Every Monday from 12pm - 1pm)
General Body meetings and committee meetings will start on Monday, February 2nd, with the location to be determined.

Committee Preferences
EXCEL has 3 different types of committees:
Programming Committees - Assist with planning and developing key aspects and logistics for events, works to decide best practices regarding events, and constantly innovate on new ideas that students would like to see.
Membership Committee - Assists with membership involvement, socials, volunteer efforts, and member development.
Marketing Committee - Assists with building our presence on social media, help create and run our social media campaigns, and brainstorm creative marketing opportunities.

Tell us about a relevant experience that makes you a good fit for EXCEL. What'd you do?
This can include previous club or organization memberships, work experience, or even volunteer service.

Question 2
In EXCEL, we find having differing member's personal traits to works great in our event structure, with everyone able to find a role that best fits them.
If you were to describe yourself in only 4 words, what would they be?

Question 3
Lastly, EXCEL requires all members to have some volunteer participation in our events. Members are able and expected to sign up for shifts at events that would pertain to specific stations or actions.
Where to you envision yourself, or what would you like to do, within these events? Why?
Some examples include set-up, decorating, check-in, food handling (popcorn, etc), photobooth help, staff liaison, and tear-down but are specially created for the specific event needs. If it helps, use a specific event in your response.

Photography Release
As a member of EXCEL Campus Activities, your picture may be taken from time to time. These pictures may be used for flyers, brochures, handouts, etc.

EXCEL Campus Activities Member Agreement
I, the undersigned, do understand that as a member of EXCEL my responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Maintaining a 2.25 GPA
2. Serving on one executive committee and attend its meetings.
3. Working at my committee’s events, all required events and any other events I or my group are assigned during the semester.
4. Participating and cooperating in the planning, organization, and implementation of events.
5. Being present throughout the duration of general body, committee meetings and events to be considered present.
6. Maintaining proper decorum during formal proceedings (i.e.-General Body, Committee Meetings, etc.).
7. Serving as a representative of EXCEL and the University and, as such will maintain professional conduct and image while working at events and serving in other official capacities.
8. Acknowledge that members will be held responsible for lost or damaged equipment while in their possession due to negligence.
9. Acknowledge that member evaluations may be conducted by the Executive Board at the end of each semester to gain voting status. Evaluations will be based on, but not limited to, the policies stated above.
I have read and understand the responsibilities that go along with the privileges of EXCEL membership. I also understand that failure to fulfill my responsibilities could result in the loss of these privileges or termination of my membership.
